This is the only reasonable solution to the lack of pockets in women’s clothing.
reblogging because i would fall instantly in love with a chick if she had those on.
yooooooo
Clothes lust.
SO MUCH FUCKING CLOTHES LUST

SAILORMOON FOREVER!!
I’m going to have this as a tabloid size print at Fanime (I’ll be at table #341!)
it constantly floors me how people readily accept wild supernaturalism and subjects of pure fantasy in their favourite media but human/human-presenting characters being anything other than white and cis is just too much
Dragons, goblins and elves are one thing…but black guys, lesbians or trans people? Clearly that’s just too unbelievable
Stephen Colbert salutes UVA’s Class of 2013 Followed by this.
FUCKING THANK YOU.
Stephen Colbert is so dead on.

I REALLY want the Harley and the Supergirl one…
I actually think this was pretty responsible. Rather than banning it outright, which would result in kids wanting to rebel even more, she offers it in her home where she can control the amount people drink. Good on ya, Mrs George. You’re a cool mom.
She also offered her daughter a condom when she was hooking up with a guy instead of freaking out and kicking the guy out of the house.
It’s kinda funny how she is simultaneously an out-there parent, yet not a bad one. She might actually understand that her daughter is a anger-ridden teenager who can’t be easily controlled and restricted, so instead of telling her what she can’t do, she tries to guide her to a safer decision. I’m not saying I’m 100% cool with how she executes it, but hey, not a bad parent when you think about it.

I’m nearly 30…I’ve been playing the Zelda franchise for nearly 20 years…I still fail to see how she’s legendary. She stays in a castle most times, is being held by Ganon/Ganondorf, and can’t stay out of his way. Not to mention that she’s ASLEEP for all of Zelda 2, until Link wakes her right at the end. I mean, sure, she possesses a piece of the Triforce, but so does Link and Ganon, and occasionally she helps Link out when she’s not being held captive. But Link does almost all the hard work to rescue her time and time again. You don’t see a Mario game entitled Super Peach Bros, since similarly, Peach is frequently nabbed by Bowser and Mario has to traipse through the Mushroom Kingdom a bajillion times to save her. Unless Zelda IS Link, and then that throws the entire series for a loop. Her as Sheik, though? That was useful.
Haha. Hahaha. Hahahaha.
Hasn’t anyone ever told you it’s rude to tag your hate?
Just because someone doesn’t run in guns-a-blazin’ or sword held high doesn’t mean they’re USELESS. What about Wind Waker, where she was a fucking pirate captain before the whole business started? At a very young age, too. You don’t get much more badass than that.
Or how about shooting arrows from horseback? At a MOVING target? Horses aren’t like cars. They’re bumpy as fuck. I’ve ridden enough horses to tell you that. Not to mention saving Midna from certain death at the cost of her own life. You know, Midna? With the giant hand that fucked shit up? Midna, who helped save Link’s ass many a time?
Also, what part of Triforce of POWER do you not get? Of course someone’s gonna get overwhelmed by someone who has sheer power going for them. It takes a smart cookie to maneuver around them and undo all the shit they did, which is, hello, EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID.
Also, there IS a Mario game where you play as Peach rescuing Mario. It’s called Super Princess Peach. I played it. It’s a rather decent game. Some might call it a little sexist due to her powers being based on emotions, but I’m willing to cut her some slack due to one of said powers being TURNING INTO A GIANT NEAR-INVINCIBLE BALL OF HELLFIRE.
Yeah.
Get the fuck out of the Princess Zelda tag.
Reblogging this because some people STILL don’t get it
Yeah, maybe Link’s the Hero, but that doesn’t make Zelda useless.
I legitimately can not take anyone who calls themselves a Legend of Zelda fan seriously as a fan or a human being if they hold a negative opinion towards the princess. She is a character who is shown to rise up in adverse circumstance and this is made even more clear in the newer games. The classics did operate very strongly on a ‘damsel in distress’ pattern, but this is because that The Hyrule Fantasy was built with a similar structure to old fantasy stories. It’s become clear that through her actions in each game where she plays a role that she is a key character who, without the presence of, Link would be very very screwed.
Ocarina of Time is a major example of this in that she evaded Ganondorf for seven years while in hiding, guiding Link through his way in the dangers of the story and is only caught in a moment of vulnerability at the end. Wind Waker is a beautiful example of how important Zelda is through Tetra. Spirit Tracks? She’s useless in SPIRIT TRACKS? Where she’s your sidekick?Twilight Princess? Wherein the Princess is less active in the game, but the major progressor of the story itself? Or did you not notice that detail? Let us not forget Skyward Sword, which she is also - again, WOW here - a key role and the major reason the game even happened. She literally, in this game, explained and defined the entire storyline and continued reincarnations of her and Link.
Don’t talk shit about Zelda around the fandom we will fry your ass.Of course there are some flaws in how she is written in the story, but that isn’t her fault. But really, she is the impetus for a lot of story lines; AND in many games she is the one who’s aware that the world/kingdom will be in trouble. So often, she would take some type of action; or help out Link in any way she could. The original Legend of Zelda? Break the Triforce of Wisdom into pieces to stall time until Link is able to help her save the land. Skipping forward, if she didn’t give Link the Ocarina of Time in Majora’s Mask, he wouldn’t have been able to save Termina. At all.
Don’t forget how in one CD-i game you do get to play with her. Yeah nobody wants to associate those games with Nintendo official ones, but that was back in early 1990’s, so STILL, kudos to the developers and writers.
I’m not even into Zelda but,
I love how when people dislike male characters they blame* the writers,
and when they dislike female characters they blame… the female characters.Cause fictional characters are totally autonomous beings capable of thought and action of their own and not at all written into a role by
menthe writers, right.Naaaahh, can’t be the
men’swriters’ fault. It’s those damn princesses who’re just sitting on their asses getting kidnapped all the time. Man up, Your Highness!(*which may or may not include analyzing the male characters’ in-verse situations and coming up with
excusesexplanations for their flaws in great depth)THIS!!!!
